Our fiftieth anniversary has not only been a momentous occasion to celebrate. It’s also been an opportunity to reflect on our journey, our goals, and our mission: returning every traveler to the road better than they came.
Our first step toward improvement was soliciting feedback from fleets, professional drivers, and motorists. After careful review of all that information, it was clear we needed to focus on the areas that matter most to fostering a clean and comfortable experience. From renovated restrooms, showers, and driver lounges, to repaved parking lots, additional dining, and more, we’ve begun making transformative updates to set us up for our next fifty years of success.
New & Remodeled Sites
Delivering excellent experiences means changing with the times. Renovating our travel centers allows us to fine-tune the guest experience and meet travelers’ needs in new ways, especially those unique needs of professional drivers. And our historic Seymour, Indiana location was the launch site for many of the upgrades we’re rolling out.
We’ve outfitted many of our sites with completely renovated restrooms and showers, and refurnished driver lounges with improved seating and televisions. New lighting, layouts, flooring, and paint also liven up the flow of our spaces, allowing motorists and diners to get the most out of our offerings. We’re investing in our future by prioritizing comfort and convenience.
Diversified Dining
In order to bring the comforts of home to the roads you drive, we’re committed to expanding the variety of food options our TA®, Petro Stopping Centers®, and TA Express® travel centers offer.
With more than 600 full-service and quick-service restaurants and nine proprietary brands—including Iron Skillet and Country Pride—we’ve always offered excellent service to our diners. But today, true excellence means variety. So, we’ve introduced even more ways for our guests to find their preferred ‘fuel.’
The Kitchen is our fast casual dining option, which launched at our Seymour site. Think of it as comfort food at fast food speeds. People are free to enjoy at their own pace, opting for a sit-down dining experience or indulging in grab ‘n go options.
Our newest full-service dining offering, Fork & Compass, aims to attract drivers and locals alike with its warm atmosphere and delectable culinary delights. This roadside retreat is a space where you can spend a little more time relaxing and recharging. It’s the perfect place to take a break from the road, chat with other travelers, and enjoy a truly delicious meal. This new concept is expected to open in late 2022 or early 2023.
