Received Gold Stevie Awards® for “Achievement in Organization Recovery” and “Achievement in Management – Transportation”
WESTLAKE, Ohio — May 2, 2022 — TravelCenters of America Inc. (Nasdaq: TA), the nation's largest publicly traded full-service travel center network, was honored as a Gold Stevie® winner in two categories in the 2022 American Business Awards®: Achievement in Organization Recovery and Achievement in Management – Transportation categories. Additionally, the company was named the winner of Silver Stevie® awards in the Achievement in Growth and Achievement in Sales or Revenue Generation categories.
The American Business Awards® are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
TA was recognized by the judges for its impressive turnaround and growth under CEO Jon Pertchik’s transformation plan. The judges remarked on TA’s great turnaround story and the outperformance the company has achieved in the past couple of years, as well as the “remarkable progress to enhance guest experience through several initiatives including remodeling its travel centers nationwide, expanding food options and restaurant concepts, upgrading digital technology and enhancing its loyalty program.”
