TravelCenters of America is pleased to announce the success of its expert technicians competing at ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) 2022 National Skills Competition.
Maintenance Technician Joseph C. Anderson Jr. (on left) took top honors in the ASE Written Test for the Heavy-Duty Truck Track, and technician Ray Titus (on right) took top honors in the Trailer Wheel End Skills Set competition, in the Trailer Track. Anderson is a maintenance technician at TA Commerce, GA and Titus is a technician at Petro, Spokane, WA.
In addition, in the Trailer Technician Skills Set Competition, Scott Davidson from TA Madison, WI placed 5th overall, with Ray Titus placing 8th and Christopher Dewick from TA Commerce City, GA placing 9th.
The annual TMC Fall Meeting and National Technician Skills Competitions, also known as TMC SuperTech 2022, took place Sept. 25-29 at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio. TMCSuperTech is North America’s premier skills competition for professional commercial vehicle technicians. Contestants come from all segments of the trucking industry for the two-day event featuring a three-part written challenge and various hands-on skills challenges.

TA’s nearly 3,000 technicians take part in the company’s extensive training program at one of two TA Truck Service training facilities- located in Lodi, Ohio and Eloy, Arizona.
