TravelCenters of America Named USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Award Winner in Two Categories

WESTLAKE, OH - TravelCenters of America, part of the bp portfolio, has made the 2024 USA Today 10Best Travel Award List in two categories: Best Gas Station Brand and Best Gas Station for Food.

The nominations were made by a panel of subject matter experts and USA Today 10Best editors before being voted on by the public over a four-week period.

“We are honored to receive these recognitions as we continue to prioritize enhancing the guest experience for all travelers,” said Debi Boffa, CEO. “Thank you to our nearly 19,000 team members across the country for working hard every day to help us achieve this honor; we will continue delivering on our mission of returning every traveler to the road better than they came."

The recognitions come on a very special day for TA- the one-year anniversary of becoming part of bp. Since the acquisition on May 15, 2023, the travel center network has accomplished many exciting initiatives, including opening 16 new travel centers with over 1,300 new truck parking spaces, three new Black Bear Diners and several new quick-serve restaurants. The company has rebranded over 30 gas island forecourts to bp/Amoco, celebrated the opening of its 300th travel center earlier this year and recently announced initiatives focused on elevating safety standards at its locations nationwide.

In addition to serving our traveling guests, TA is committed to supporting organizations that impact the trucking industry including TAT, formerly Truckers Against Trafficking, and St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund (SCF). The company plans to launch its annual summer Round Up fundraising campaign for SCF next Friday, May 24, supporting professional drivers out of work due to illness or injury. The campaign will run through July 31, 2024.
